Senior Accounts Executive

Position Overview

The firm is seeking five Senior Accounts Executives for full-time, on-site positions at its Gurugram office. The role involves independently handling accounting, taxation and compliance assignments, including finalisation of accounts, preparation of financial statements, GST and TDS returns, income tax returns and tax audit workings. Alongside their own assignments, the Senior Accounts Executives will review the work of junior team members, guide them on assignments and coordinate with clients to ensure accurate and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Finalisation of accounts and preparation of financial statements
• Preparation and filing of GST and TDS returns
• Preparation of income tax returns and tax audit workings
• Independent handling of assigned client work, from records to deliverables
• Review of work prepared by junior team members and guidance on assignments
• Coordination with clients for information, queries and timelines
• Management of multiple assignments with appropriate prioritisation and timely completion

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Com or M.Com; CA Intermediate qualification will be an advantage
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a Chartered Accountancy firm
• Practical experience in finalisation of accounts, GST and TDS compliance, income tax returns and tax audit workings

Skills & Competencies

• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and preparation of financial statements
• Proficiency in Tally or similar accounting software
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and basic data analysis
• Ability to handle assignments independently while reviewing and guiding junior team members
• Planning and prioritisation of multiple client assignments to meet deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication with clients and team members
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Remuneration

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and skills. Remuneration is reviewed annually, with opportunities for professional growth based on performance.
